- Provide leadership and instruction in the personal and athletic development of student athletes at Lenoir-Rhyne University.
- Direct and coordinate the activities of the Men’s and Women’s Swimming 工作人员 in the planning, organizing and coaching of the Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s and Women’s Swimming team; ensure compliance with the university, 会议和NCAA的政策和法规.
- Direct the Men’s and Women’s Swimming 工作人员 and student-athletes in the preparation of analyses of opposing teams; analyze statistics and technical data of opponents and prepare game plans accordingly.
- Counsel and mentor student-athletes in academic, disciplinary and personal matters; consult with university 工作人员 and faculty for resolution of problems when required.
- Assign geographical areas to and supervise the Men’s and Women’s Swimming 工作人员 in the recruitment of new athletes; determine recipients of Men’s and Women’s Swimming scholarships in accordance with university admissions policies.
- Determine fiscal requirements and prepare budgetary recommendations; monitor, verify and reconcile expenditures of budgeted funds.
